It is equipped with two fans for intake and exhaust, and the integrated dust filters on the front and bottom intakes are removable for easy maintenance. The front panel sports USB 3.0 and Audio jacks. The interior features a seductive black power coating, toolless 5.25” and 3.5” drive bays for easy maintenance and upgrades. The 300R features a bottom mounted power supply which conspires with the other design features to maintain a cool and quiet home for the high quality components that live inside.

Corsair Carbide Series 500R White Edition (Optional)

The optional 500R stands out with its contrasting color scheme and impressive build quality at a modest optional upgrade cost. With a mesh grill design on the intake and exhaust ports and fans front, top, side and rear, heat doesn’t stand a chance in this chassis. The front panel offers USB 3.0, Firewire (on supported systems), and audio jacks as well as a toggle switch to control the white lighting on the front and side fans. Inside you’re treated to an elegant black powder coated interior with gobs of real estate and rubber grommets which make for a clean and professional look with excellent airflow; a perfect place for your components to call home. With toolless drive bays, maintenance and upgrades are a snap. You’ll definitely want to keep this chassis out from under desk for all to envy.

Graphics
All Armor Series desktops feature Nvidia video cards that give you stunning graphics, stellar performance and an array of advanced features and connectiivity options. Whether you want the best immersive gaming experience, multiple monitors, video editing or amazing 3D graphics, Nvidia can deliver on all! The Armor VS is available with a single GeForce GTX 750ti, 760 or 770. We even have benchmark number on the Performance tab so you can compare the results for yourself and choose which card is best for your graphic needs and your budget!

Storage
Armor Series machines support up to four storage drives in any combination to meet your storage capacity and performance needs. Each system comes default with a single 7,200 RPM 1 TB Western Digital Black Edition SATA 3 drive, with upgrades available up to 4TB in size! For blazing-fast storage performance, add an Intel SSD with capacities as high as 480 GB and throughput as high as 550 MB/s. These options give you many ways to quickly store and access your data. Combine a standard hard drive and a solid state drive together with Intel® Smart Response Technology to get the best of both worlds. See the Performance tab for more information on this option.

Intel® Smart Response Technology

All Armor series machines and the Mobius TL support the Intel® Smart Response Technology. This cutting edge process recognizes and automatically stores your most frequently used applications and data into a high performance solid state drive (SSD) while giving you full access to the large storage capacity of a hard disk drive (HDD). This decreases boot times, application and game load times as well as giving a boost to your in-game zoning times. Benchmark testing

We like to say that we do our homework so you don’t have to. We don’t want our customers to become lost in endless options and ultimately buy a configuration that doesn’t meet the standards we set for ourselves. The Armor VS is the end result of a meticulous testing process. A significant number of hardware configurations were tested in our lab to find the correct formula to balance price and performance all while ensuring quality.

Below are benchmarks of 3 popular games showing the level of performance you can expect from your DogHouse Systems Armor VS depending on the video card option chosen.

Benchmark testing was performed using the following methods:

World of Warcraft: Mist of Pandaria -  All options were set to Ultra or High with the exception of Shadow which was set to Good.  The Benchmarks were run using DirectX-11 using the in-game /timetest function between The Shrine of Two Moons and Honeydew Village at 1920 x 1080 resolution.

Bioshock Infinite – Using the built-in benchmarking tool, all options were set to Ultra using DirectX-11 at 1920 x 1080 resolution.

Civilization V - All options were set to Ultra and the built-in benchmarking tool –benchmark lategameview was launched at the command prompt and run using DirectX-11 at 1920 x 1080 resolution. Fraps was started and used to record the FPS.

Warranty

Our warranty covers all parts, labor, and support related shipping costs necessary to keep your DogHouse Systems gaming rig in top shape so you will have no out-of-pocket service costs during your warranty period.

  • Desktop models come standard with a comprehensive 3 year warranty
  • Laptop models come standard with a 1 year warranty (upgradeable to 3 years)

In the unlikely event you have an issue with your system, we offer e-mail and phone support by our team of experts located right here in our Dallas, Texas USA office, all of whom are friendly geeks and gamers themselves. If we identify any failed components, depending on your comfort level inside of a computer, we will either send you replacement parts and talk you through the installation, or, in a worst case scenario, recall your system and repair it in our lab at absolutely no cost to you for in-warranty repair. Optionally, we offer an onsite warranty where instead of talking you through a repair or recalling the system, we'd send an agent to your home or office to perform the repair for you. Onsite warranty service is available in the United States and Canada. We provide phone and email support for troubleshooting for as long as you own the system, well beyond the warranty period, on every model we sell.

Shipping

In addition to the United States, we ship to Canada, Mexico and all 27 European Union member states as well as Switzerland, New Zealand, and Australia. Our web store is configured to display pricing in US Dollars, Canadian Dollars, British Pounds, Euros, and Australian Dollars for your convenience. Orders are delivered "Duties Paid" and your invoice will include line items for all applicable sales tax and import fees that we collect at the point of sale for your convenience. All our systems are built in and supported from Dallas, TX in the United States. As such, technical support is provided in English and Spanish and availability is limited to the posted times on the Support landing page accessible in the navigation bar at the top, keeping in mind that we are in Central Time USA (GMT -5:00) and we observe Daylight Savings Time during the summer months. Also, a modest "International Support Fee" is added to each order shipping outside the United States and is designed to offset the higher shipping costs we'll incur should there ever be a need to recall your system for repair or ship out replacement parts and recall failed components during the warranty period. This amount varies by region and depends on shipping costs to and from each region. All international orders ship with a universal power adapter at no additional charge.

We invite you to take a leisurely read through our Support Statement written in everyday-speak, not legalese.
