Major Nelson, also known as Xbox Live director of programming Larry Hyrb, announced this morning that PC drivers for the XboxOne controller were available for download this morning.

I’m quite excited by this. I grabbed an Xbox Wired controller for gaming last Christmas, and aside from some hiccups with games that didn’t support it natively (looking at you, BioWare), it’s been a great experience. The XboxOne contoller is a definite improvement of an already great design, and now gamers can start using it with their PC library.
